On Saturday we went to the Auburn Air Fair. It was a warm day but thank goodness for a breeze and scouts selling cold waters:)
Shortly after arriving we were trilled by a flight demonstration by the Patriot fighter jets. It was amazing how close they flew to each other!
Later, two of them landed and we got to get a closer look. Each had two pilots dressed in black and red jumpsuits.
After the Patriots, some of the antique and classic planes took to the air.
On the ground there was a lot to see as well. Here we saw a biplane and a really tiny car! Looked like the car from the movies When in Rome and Pink Panther.

Helicopters too!
They were offering rides in this old passenger plane. No one in our family was brave enough to try (not to mention it cost $60 – we could always go on the Young Eagles day for free)
